1. Accepted Payment Methods

Vortaz accepts the following secure payment methods at checkout on vortaz.com.au:

             Visa

             Mastercard

             American Express

             Apple Pay

             Google Pay

             Shop Pay

The payment options shown to you at checkout may vary depending on your device, browser and region.

2. Currency and GST

All prices on vortaz.com.au are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion fees if you pay with a non-AUD card.

3. Secure Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Shopify Payments, a certified PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay available as accelerated wallet checkout options.

Card details are entered directly into the secure gateway at checkout, encrypted in transit via TLS/HTTPS, and handled by the gateway. Vortaz does not see, transmit or store your full card number, expiry date or security code at any point. We only receive a payment confirmation from the gateway indicating whether the transaction was authorised.

4. When You Are Charged

Your payment is processed at the time you place your order. Some banks may apply a temporary authorisation hold before the charge is finalised, which is standard practice and is released by your bank if the transaction does not complete.

5. Declined Payments

If your payment is declined, your order will not be created and no charge will be applied. Common reasons include insufficient funds, expired cards, incorrect card details, or fraud detection by your bank. If a payment is declined, please check the details you entered, contact your bank, or try a different payment method.

6. Order Confirmation

Once your payment is successfully authorised, you will receive an order confirmation by email to the address you provided at checkout. If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time, please check your spam folder and then contact us at care@vortaz.com.au

7. Fraud Prevention

Orders are screened by automated fraud detection systems. Orders that are flagged as high-risk may be held for manual review, require additional verification, or be cancelled at our discretion. If we cancel a flagged order, any pending charge is reversed.

8. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order. The time it takes for a refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider but is typically 3–10 business days. For full refund eligibility and procedure, please see our Return & Refund Policy.
